I am so excited to start The Library at Where's Mer. All too often I find myself scrambling for a good read before vacation or when I am coming down from a high of reading a truly excellent novel and I want another fix. This is where you can come for honest reviews on the latest reads that will help you decipher if you should spring for that hardcover or wait until it hits the dollar rack. We are kicking off The Library series with a review from the woman I have been sharing books with since I was 12 years old. She instilled in me my love of reading and always has a great recommendation when I am need.

Quick Snippet about the book: The story takes place in the countryside of France During WWII. Told through the eyes of the main character, Vianne who is a wife and mother, we learn of what living apart from her husband was like after the Germans occupied her small country village. Her beautiful and rebellious sister, Isabel, joins the resistance- fighters and led dangerous campaigns that keep you on the edge or your seat. Complete with mystery identities and dark forgotten pasts the action is very real and often heart-stopping.
